K-Line LIRR GP38-2 units Battery Question

Anyone have the K-Line LIRR GP38-2 units and know whether there is a battery inside to operate the minimal rail sounds the units have and if so how does one charge it and/or replace it? Thank you.

If it has Railsounds it has an 9V Alkaline battery which is optional. Keeps sound on after shutdown. Simply replace if desired,should snap in to a harness.
