K-Line Operating Boxcar Remote

I have a K-Line operating boxcar, item K702-5101. I know the proper remote to operate this car is item K712RC. I have been looking for this remote, but seem to only be able to find the K-Line by Lionel version (or at least what I assume is the K-Line by Lionel version). This item number is 6-21438. If I purchase the 6- remote, will I be able to operate the K-Line boxcar? Thanks for your help.

I have K Line Operating cars and they work fine with the pictured remote.
