Recently I have seen a couple of K-Line locomotives that are very nice, but because I run all of our equipment, I am concerned about parts availability.  Is this a legitimate issue, or is it akin to finding parts for, say, postwar locos where there is no shortage of parts and excellent vendors?  Thanks in advance for the advice.

I believe this is an issue for runners of the K-line equipment.  I bought the Reading F3 ABA (2005) with 6 passenger cars.  It runs well, however I am at a loss for some of the parts.  Brasseur does have some but not a large supply and it is very difficult to determine part numbers so you have to comb through the list or talk to one of their staff.  I need new diaphrams for the engines and they are no longer available.

My question to address this is: Are their any forum members who might be able to repair the K-line and/or modify them to keep them looking neat and running?
