A project from sometime back , put the finishing touches on K-LINES SD75i , forum member 2 RRJF 2 railed the trucks for me , I added ground or step lites with 1.2 mm tiny bulbs , full length hand rails , scratchbuilt fueltank from brass . added weight , test ran it recently , ran smooth as glass over at my friends house, cool thing about these were all the extra under walkway details K-LINE added , I believed they used an Overland model to build from . Truck side frame detail is super nice , all wheel drive , I included an Overland shot

Nice job, that thing is sweet!
Beautiful! Where did you get the fuel tank?
He stated it was scratch built from brass I want one too
Bernie..........great as always!!! I'm lucky enough to own a few of your works of art. Please keep sharing your work and encouraging others to build.
Bachmann could make more of the K-Line by Lionel SD75I/SD70MAC diesels, but has not yet done it for some reason.

Nice!!!!
I really like my K Line SD75, great running and very detailed. It came as conventional, so I have put in ERR system TMCC and the correct RS from ERR. Pulls a very good sized consist when called upon and runs fine on all the layout grades of max 3%, looks, sounds, runs as well as expected.

Thanks for all the comments , it is one of those great locos that get produced now and then . Joe foelhkolb Baldwin Forge did the truck conversion , making it a sweet 2 rail diesel .
I spent too much or I would be on this. Very nice.
If there was just an easy fix for the fuel tank. My TMCC version sits on the shelf waiting for a fixed pilot/Kadee conversion and a more accurate fuel tank.
I have been searching for a 3d design of an sd70 fuel tank with no luck. Have found GP7 tanks and sd40 but not an sd 70.

That's an awesome engine. I would totally buy one (or more) of the K-Line SD75M/SD75I locomotives. Why hasn't Lionel made the SD75 with Legacy? They should have the tooling, since they bought K-Line. Also, what is the minimum curve radius for these engines?
K Line made some nice engines, too bad they not offered in 2 rail.
Great job, Bernie. I also like how you did the in-pavement track work.
