I need to get a K-Line MP15 to replace my son's NS MP15 (from the 1st train set we got him). I'm simply going to put the NS shell on the new one I get. I found this WM MP3 on Nicholas Smith site. It has a horn while our original does not. Question I have "Can this horn be activated by an MTH Z-750 transformer or do we need a special K-line controller? Thanks.

All conventional horns work the same, with a dc pulse at the push of a button.  It should be just fine.  Nothing special or proprietary about conventional trains. Have fun with it, just take a good look to make sure the shell mounts looks like it will line up.  Also be aware some of the older z750 bricks go up to about 22 volts, which is rather high for K-line.  If you don’t turn it up all the way you’re fine.  But if you haven’t bought the 750 yet, check the output voltage on the label on the brick.  The newer ones only go to 18 or 20 volts so you less chance of frying your toys.
