Anyone know if this was ever produced?

Cool, thanks. When I tried it, all I got was the artwork from the 2005 catalog. Google must have been broke....Anyway, wow, they're pretty rare.
I have had my eye out for one but they are absurdly expensive. I've seen one go for over $300 on eBay. Should have picked one up when K-Line went out of business but I had other priorities. Oh well.
That is one very nice scale caboose. Unfortunately it does command quite a premium when they come up for auction. The caboose completes the 16 car freight version of the K-Line BlackBonnet consist.
The freight and passenger Black Bonnet consists are my favorite modern era trains.

Ok, well then, I guess, unless there's some kind of crazy luck out where one of those happens to fall out of the ceiling & into my lap, I'd have to say, I won't be expecting one any time soon. I noticed that there were some really nice items I missed out on from that era. I was busy with a young family from the late 90's until just the last few years & some of this neat stuff passed me by because I didn't have the time or money to spend perusing the catalogs. Oh well.
I don't have an inbox. I don't have a premium membership.
Roger. Got it. Thanks.
