Kennecott Copper SD24 Special Announcement from Patrick's Trains

Now that is a great idea.  I ran my KCC MP15 engine for the first time in about 20 years and the tires had dry rot and fell off.  Great way to revive the KCC cars and cabooses! 

K-Line made Kennecott RS-3s with TMCC & Rail Sounds.  I have one.

The RS-3's were a K-Line Collectors Club item and I feel like only handful were made.  I think I've only seen one for sale in several years of looking.

They made two - 106 & 109. As Mitch said, they were KCC exclusives, and came with smoke,  RailSounds, TMCC, and electrocouplers.

Interesting post and comments.  The intrigue for a MTH PS3 version grows greater....

I believe it was 1997.

I wish that I could post a picture of it, but I am on board my ship right now and it will be a few weeks until I get back to my trains again.

I found it on eBay and the seller had both numbers.  I wish now that I had purchased both.
