I've never been to York. That said, I find this forum very interesting. Surely, there is a hotel that does allow the smallest members of one's family. When I was able to travel we always brought our Chihuahua.
I live about 12 miles south of York. I have 3 cats. The vet that we use( Stewartstown Veterinary Service 717-993-2155) does board animals. Might be what you are looking for.
Ed, The old Holiday inn & conference center is now the Wyndham Garden of York. We have been bringing our BostonTerriers there for 30 years. With the new change, they still allow dogs.
i don't think a pet friendly hotel/motel would work. We will be at the meet all day and we would not leave our dog in the room. Plus I think the hotels do not allow you to leave pets unattended.
I live in York. We have been very happy with Locust Run kennels east of York, but they are 15 miles from the fairgrounds. Millstone Kennels is 5 miles west, but I don't have any experience there. Both have websites.
Thanks for the positive report on Locist Run. I've been searching on line for a kennel and that one jumped out at me. Nice to know it is as good as the picture represent.
i was planning on calling them tomorrow regards pricing, etc.
