LCCA Invites You to Experience KRT's Lionel/LCCA FasTrack Modular Railroad Layout in Hampton VA This Weekend!

Ladies and gentlemen; now arriving in Hampton, Virginia, it is the Kids Run Trains experience.

The weekend is finally here! This, weekend, the 20th and 21st of December, Kids Run Trains will be setting up their Lionel/LCCA FasTrack Modular Railroad layout at the Hampton Public Library in Hampton, VA

This will be a great event! There will be cookies, holiday music, and of course, the trains! Our now famous candy train will be making a reappearance loaded with candy canes. Most importantly - kids will be invited to try their hand at operating the trains!!

Come and experience the magic of Lionel Trains. Spread the word, invite your family, friends and neighbors. The more the merrier. Come and enjoy this hands-on, interactive experience of running Lionel Trains and accessories.

BREAKING NEWS!!

We received a note fom the North Pole yesterday that Santa's helpers will be surprising some god boys and girls with a special gift. Rumor has it that it might be a train set, but we'll just have to wait and see!

Kids Run Trains has arrived in Hampton, VA!

The layout is setup and ready to go at the Hampton Public Library in Hampton, VA Family Fun Days starting at 9 and going until 4:45 today and Sunday from 1-3.

Here are some pictures from day 1 of the event. It was a great time and was consistently busy! On a side note, the club held a fundraiser earlier this fall to purchase trains sets to be used as a Secret Santa surprise gift for families that showed an exceptional interest in the hobby but could not afford to purchase one themselves.

The little guy pictured with the Scout set was just one of the 5 sets given away yesterday. Mom told me that everything in his life revolves around trains; from Friday family movie watching the polar express to weekly trips to the Amtrak station. Sounded like a great candidate to us!! Here's to helping grow the hobby one child at a time...
