Kids still like trains | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

While working on a couple of pieces of rolling stock in my garage, a couple of Grandparents walked by and saw the train layout . They were babysitting a couple of their grandkids and asked if the kids could watch the trains run. After stumbling all over the garage getting things turned on. The first thing was getting the 3 year old a place where he could see, out comes the "overhead creeper" the granddad sat him on it ( he did hold on to the kid) and the trains started running. When I handed him the remote for the vision Line Hudson and showed him how to blow the horn, did his eyes light up.

What started as a normal day ended as a GREAT one.

Everyone loves trains. It always gives me a laugh when someone mentions a kid or friend to come over to see the trains and truly they are the one that wants to come.
