If there was a thread on yesterday's (3/22/15) train show in  Kingston, NY, I missed it.

Regardless, I went to the show. The tables were sold out. They had several display layouts. and face painting. The facility they use has a small play room with couches. There was a TV in the corner with Thomas the Tank engine videos playing, and lots of wooden trains for kids to use. I think there was lots of legos as well.
Decent food with prices that weren't bad for that sort of event.

The show was well attended with lots of families with children.

Well done!

We used to have a couple of Canadian Guys come down to our Albany, NY shows on a regular basis. I'd estimate that its about 3 1/2 hours from Montreal to Albany. A very easy drive, with some beautiful scenery. Kingston would be about another hour on top of that.

The roads are nice and clear in Albany and to the south. Still some snow on the grass with plenty of bare spots showing though. Cannot say anything about conditions to the north.

I was at the show as well.  I had a table on the right side against the bleachers.  I had the empty Postwar General set box, on my table.

There were lots of families in attendance, with children.  Several layouts, and play sets for the kids, and they seemed to be having lots of fun.  There were some new train dealers and some hobbyists like myself, just thinning the collection.

A nice day and a nice way to spend a Sunday.  I will probably be there again in October.
