I bought this prewar freight depot for a great price a few months ago. Is this a genuine prewar item? The font on the sliding door seems too modern. Not that I care; I only paid 20 bucks for it and it looks great. I'm just wondering what others think.

Yes its pre-war , but the front door is incongruous ... I suspect its a later add on when the original went missing

Tabs on the roof end seem a bit raised and pressed down the opposite way ( outwards instead of inwards) so I suspect its been apart

As Überstationmeister says there are other examples so it's doesn't appear to be a custom job. Still, something looks off about it.
