I am considering gutting the sounds and putting it into my MTH California Zephyr passenger car set. I am interested in what the name of the train is with this car. Kind of generic or specific enough to where it will be wrong to the observer. Does anyone have this car? Can they tell me the name of the train that is announced on arrival and departure? Thanks in advance.

Order placed for L&N Railsounds Diner "Hummingbird". Will post results.
This is one of the new 21” ABS cars, right? If so, the sounds will be train/RR-specific at least to the extent of the arrival and departure announcements. Other sounds such as passenger chatter, various conductor announcements, dining seating calls and of course the rail clatter are I think standard across these models. Those sound effects are a lot of fun; I have not tried bypassing the arrival/departure announcements to trigger only the ones that don’t mention the train/RR but you can download the car’s manual to see what it says about controlling the sequence.
I am going by the two I have, which are Texas Special and UP Excursion. There seems to be some difference between them in the persons who actually voice the announcements but they are separated by two different issue dates a couple of years apart.
I don’t think anyone has posted a video of the L & N car’s sound sequence or at least not here on the forum.

It is one of the new 21" cars. I have the Challenger 21" from last year. I really like it. Arrival and Departure announcements should not be a big problem if they are. People may confuse the Louisville Nashville for destinations. Works for me.
These sound equipped cars put you, in the train. How many of us don't once in awhile, (especially after a satisfying "I did not want to do this" chore on or under our layout) envision ourselves in one of the cars going on a trip. My only problem is the hardness of the Lionel seats.
