I just bought the new camelback lion chief plus loco. The backup light on the tender does not work, before I send it back any suggestions?

Can you do a feature reset?
Well I have never heard of a feature reset in Lion Chief, but I think that may help, but a Hammer might help even more
The engine and tender do not a reset feature
Does the engine even have an operating back up light? Every LC+ steamer I've seen does NOT have one.
Yes the tender has a back up light mounted on top of the tender.

But is it designed as an "operating" light? The product's Features description makes no mention that there is an operating back-up light.

Could be a non-operable dummy light. Might be worth the time to remove the tender shell and take a look to see if there are wires running to the unit.
You guys were right, the tender light is not operational, its a dummy light. Very poor design by lionel. Thanks for you input.
I have been inside a few. The backup light is decorative and does not operate. LC+ has no reset feature. It does look pretty.
Gentlemen,
Marty F is correct as usual, my New Hallmark/Lionel Santa Toy Maker Express has the light on the back of the Tender, but from what I can see, it is strictly decorative, looks like it could be made to work with some additional wiring and LED however.

I keep looking at the light on my camelback, I figure a one-wire tether back might wake it up. I think there should be a reverse output, if not then motor polarity would have to suffice.
