Finished 4 of these today but painting them may be a problem with the winter we are having. Monday is supposed to be a good warm & sunny day. The air brush will be ready.
Malcolm, as usual most excellent workmanship. I can appreciate your workmanship after building 6 Mullet River L&N cabooses, and they are KITS!!!!!! Your work is always a pleasure to see.
True to form, beautiful creation and at the correct time period, which includes the 'Poling-Pockets,' as some manufacturers leave off, even though the prototype rail car had them, within the time period, the car existed.
Paint!!! Finally!!!! This was the first day we have had in a looonnnngggg time that was fit for painting. This has been the coldest, wettest winter we have had in years. I got all the L&N cabs, a NYC PM cab painted and a ACY cab primed. I got outside and sanded a new KM shell too. Only drawback, mosquitoes almost carried me off! Tomorrow's forecast, 100% rain :>(.
This has been the coldest winter, with a long duration of cold and with continual snow fall, that I can remember, but faith in GOD and all will be well.
