Lash up 2 RailChief locos of the same type | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I'm wondering if I could lash up 2 RailChief Diesel locomotives of the same type. If I'm right, they would respond to the same frequency and could both be operated with one handheld controller. Has anyone tried this? and what was your experience?

That is my plan for when my set of RS-3's arrive....

From what I have been told and confirmed from Lionel Reps, it should work as you stated.

If they are identical and aimed the same direction, from what I have read yes.

Railgon,

That is what Lionel saiid LC+ engines would do at the York show. They even demonstrated it at their in booth show. The only negative is you cannot run them back to back only elephant style. You also would want to change cab numbers so get out the paint.
