I have been doing 3 loco lash ups and over the past few weeks they get messed up - lose the information in the handheld or one loco will start up but the other won't. Anyway, I do a lash up just to get all locos running on the track as it is just an overhead display basically. Is there an advantage with a lash up? Is it just as productive to run three individual locos on the same track? I recall in the past I had an issue with the one loco catching up to the one in front and the lash up solves that issue but I can't tell you how many times I have had to create a lash and then lose the data for some reason or another.

What engines? ps3? ps2 3volt? ps2 5 volt? The ps2's need healthy batteries to remember there settings.
