I have a set of ps2 and ps3 diesels that I enjoy running together, however the smoke units come on every time I start up this lashup. Is this supposed to happen? When I shut down an individual ps2 engine and start it back up later, the smoke unit stays as I left it, which is usually off. Yet when using a lashup, the sound volume stays as I left it but the smoke units always come back on. Anyway just curious if this is normal or just a quirky little glitch reserved just for me.

What is the release of DCS?

I believe its 4.30. It was updated at the Fall 2014 dcs user's group meeting.

That makes sense. DCS 4.30 defaults to smoke on for lashups at every startup. A request is in to change that in the next release.
