The last former N&W Fireman/Engineer has retired from the Kenova District and old Scioto Division .
The old Scioto Division is the former N&W territory from Portsmouth,Ohio to Columbus and east towards Kenova,WV.
The Kenova District runs from Portsmouth,Oh to Williamson,WV including of course Kenova,WV.
The remaining former pre-NS Engineer's hired in other depts. such as mechanical,but have NS senority.
Portsmouth,Oh and Kenova,WV have a hand full of former N&W conductors,and brakeman left.

Hey Collin Mac how are you doing? Glad to see posting! Don't forget to bring your young-uns to Greenbo the 3rd weekend of March. I just got off the phione with Junior Venters, and finding out an answer that another guy made a post about the shortage of Power on the C&O in 54-55, and them having to bring steam back out of moth balls to suppliment power they were short of during that period.............Brandy!
Yeah ,I plan on coming out,my young-uns are getting to be old-uns now 
and married.
