Last night the Pittsburgh Ind Hi Railers got together with some freinds to run some trains and have a good time.

How many Hi Railers does it take to put and engine on the track?

Will have to hook up with you guys at some point.  I'm just South of the City in the 'burbs.  I'd love to spend an evening talking with some like minded zealot....er... hobbyists... and get some ideas/learn some skills.  At the moment, I don't have many ideas, and no real skills, so it could take some time

Regardless, that layout looks absolutely astounding.  I would love to see it in person.  I'll check the web to see if there's a URL for the club.

I really had a Great time on Tues.Always alot of fun everytime we run trains. Friends,Fun and Food. We will have fun again this weekend at the Greenberg show. I do not remember ever haveing a bad time with The Pittsburgh Indenpendent Hi-Railers.Great bunch of guys and we can always use a few more members to join in our fun. Thanks Patrick for another Super eve. Marty is was nice you could come and join in on the fun. Call us the next time you are in town.

Thanks guys,
When isnt getting together and making new freinds and running trains fun. Like most clubs we are  pretty active and are  always doing something to increase the interest in the hobby as well as enjoy it with others. The more support and participation  the better for ALL of us.Most everyone is always welcome to join in .If anyone is ever interested in participating in any way ,local or not just contact Doc. We will be at Greenburg show this weekend in Monroeville.

Thanks George.Link updated.

See ya this weekend Andy

It was a lot of fun Patrick. While I was gone, my wife bought a go pro2 video camera. Playing with it today. It is small enough to fit on a Gondola and takes GREAT steady video. It was developed for extreme sports. This use is the opposite end of the spectrum, but hey... I'm going to post video of a small loop on the floor. I will leave it to you to decide if it is the next step in sharing your layout. I wish I had had it for my visit.

Jim Sutter,

Its good to see you posting Jim, tell Peggy hello for me and ask her if she still has the NASA Space Shuttle Coin that I gave her.  I hope you both are in good shape and enjoying your retierment.  Good luck with your knee replacement.

Patrick H,

Great pictures of your incredible layout, I will try to look you up tomorrow at the Train Show.
