I wonder what the original cost was to the city for that car? The auction price seems high, compared to what might have been its original price. Or maybe I just am ignorant of the facts. (It's been known to happen.)
I took that train to high school for 4 years back in the 70's. It was mostly graffiti back then. I taught most of them were dumped in the ocean. Nothing like riding in the front of the train overlooking the Sunnyside yard.
Wow!! That’s worth more than my house even with the ridiculous increased sales prices the last year or two
