I know you like that one Bill. It is a nice one!
Very Nice Bill!
My LHS told me that my pair of UP PFE were in yesterday but I haven't had time to get them. Hope to pick them up Monday. You've just made me even more excited.

Yep living in the Puget Sound area for 40 years made this one a no brainer. The Milwaukee passed through my home town numerous times during the day.

Good memories! It was quite a railroad.
Nice looking.
thanks for posting great looking car!!! no thanks for posting as now i need to find a couple of those. dad and grandfather both worked for the MILW almost 90 years of service!
The Chicago, Milwaukee & Puget Sound reefer is a custom run from the TCA Pacific NW Division. They may still be available from them, if you are a TCA member. I was able to get mine from Eastside Trains. Very nice car!

Very nice, and very hidden. There certainly wasn't much publicized about this car - not that I'm plugged in that much, but I'd never heard of it before. There have been other cars like this from various divisions - wish there was some way for these TCA Division limited offerings to get better publicized.
There was an ad in the TCA Headquarters Bulletin a month or two ago. That's the only place I saw the information, and I ordered mine as soon as I saw the ad. I got all four numbers - kind of silly, but you hardly ever see anything lettered for the CM&PS, which was a temporary subsidiary that the Milwaukee Road set up for the Pacific Coast extension project.. The reefers will go nicely with my Atlas Bellingham Bay boxcar (a joint project between Andy Petersen and a Canadian club) and Bellingham Beer reefer (Atlas Golden Spike).
One kind of sour note was that the NW Division charged the same shipping per car no matter if you ordered one or four. I wound up paying 20 bucks more for shipping than the actual cost printed on the shipping label.
That's why I only ordered two. However, thanks to the NW Division for doing this special run of these car, a nice addition to my collection.
Also, thanks SW Hi for the heads up on the ad for these cars.

Picked up my PFE's yesterday and checked them out. Everything we've come to expect from the Atlas O Master Steam Era Classics line...
I think they're great!
