O Gauge Railroading is always my first stop.

Latest video and also a new segment towards the end of the video called "sidetracked"

This video has a lot in it.

Oh we could call it complete focus, maximum sharpness, overall sharpness or maximum depth of field, but it's all the technique of making an image where almost everything is in reasonably sharp focus.

In the video, I am using layman’s terms to describe what is the simply "the increase of depth of field" as it relates to subject focus or (getting it all in focus) over the entire final image. While there is a lot that could be explained about it, I find it unnecessary for this video so I do not go too deep in that direction. You can certainly look it up yourself if you want to know more about depth of field specifically. This video is more of How I do it, what I use and why. I can absolutely assure you that anyone can do it with ease, it just takes practice and willingness to put a little time in to getting acclimated to it (just like anything else).

I know that I still have my old camera tripod, but all rest will have to be replaced, and the new technology would probably be best suited anyway. Do you have suggestions for cameras?.........Thanks in Advance Brandy!

Brandy, you are on your own shopping for a camera as there are way too many to choose from. Lots of different price ranges. I use the Canon EOS line of professional equipment, but the consumer grade offerings are top notch. Nikon also has a great selection. These two brands are the Fords and Chevys of cameras. No need for folks to say more like Toyota and Nissan, but you get the point.

There is a difference between "point and shoot" and DSLR cameras, so do a little research first. there are inexpensive DSLR's that will do everything and more, and there are point and shoots that have some of the features of a DSLR but in a compact offering.

Reply By Joey_Ricard: Latest Video - More on Model Photography - Image S...Thanks a lot Joey, I'm 68 years old, and the last several years I just like thing user friendly and non-complicated. Years ago when I was in 20's-early fifties, I looked for a challenge, whether it be a cross word puzzle, or some word math games. I'm to the point where I just like to share a seat with ***, and watch others do what ever they want to. I do thank you for the advise, and will take the time to visit a couple of camera stores. I buy a yearly membership to Consumers Guide, and I'll check them out to see what they're testing. Keep up the good work, as I know that you've heard it a thousand times on the O Gauge Form,as well as other functions that you attend, about your efforts. I don't know who the **** the best is, but you definately have my vote, as the best, or until the best comes along!.................Thanks again.....................................Brandy!
