I finally decided t spend all of my time working on the layout and avoiding the mountain of car and loco projects I have. Here's my first attempt at scenery, rock cuts on the NYC West Shore North Of West Point. The first is a tunnel without the roof. The roofs going on after the roadbed is ballasted.

The roof was made by cutting blue foam insullation to fit the curve and mounting rock castings to it.

This is rock cut north of the tunnel.
