I know this topic has been discussed before. But a quick search revealed most threads that are over 3 years old. That being said, I'm trying to get back into the game after neglecting my layout for the better part of 6 years. I used to use the atlas software back in the day, but found its library limiting. I'm going to be working with gargraves flex and Ross switches. Specifically I am looking for something that has the ability to properly deal with custom curves and flex track. After browsing some older threads it seems most were using Anyrail or RRTrack. Just want some opinions from those who have experience using software with the track systems mentioned.

Thanks!

RR-Track, Anyrail and SCARM seem to be the most talked about (and the only ones I am somewhat familiar with). These are all Windows programs, as far as I know none of them run directly on a Mac?

If I was just starting out again, I would probably try SCARM first. Seems to be quite popular, the author posts here and he is still actively developing the program as far as I know. Also, Atlas has recently chosen SCARM to replace their old layout program and has made a deal with SCARM's author.
