Alright i sort of had a talk with my god parents and they brought up the possibility of getting a shed / barn thing to put my layout in. Now i do not know how exactly it will work because it will be one of those pre built sheds that will be moved by trailer to my property and then i have to find some way to hook up power to it. it was just a possibility that we discussed over lunch. the phase after that will be planning the layout which will actually have both o and s gauge with the s gauge line being the most elaborate and running parallel with the o gauge line. both lines will be able to run with coventional with a cab 1 and powermaster bridge so i can run older conventional engines along with non blue tooth command equiped engines. i actually plan on getting some american flyer legacy engines that if i'm not mistaken still don't come with bluetooth like es44ac's and stuff. i think also using s would help me bring my growing hot wheels collection into play as it would be cool to launch them of the American Flyer auto ramp cars. hot wheels cars will have a fairly large role on my layout on both the o and s gauge lines. while i can picture this layout in my head and imagine myself playing with it when it comes to how much space i need / have and coming up with a track plan for both lines all i know is the less elaborate o gauge line with only a few turn outs and passing sidings will be the out side with the smaller scale s gauge line being way more elaborate and running parallel to the o gauge like o gauge is full size trains and the s gauge is the "grand scale division" that runs into the tight areas that the "full size" trains can't get to. There will be a "transfer terminal" where the full size and grand scale division transfer freight and passengers. so that is my plan
what do you guys think am i dreaming too big again? please give some feedback
i didn't exactly know where to post this as it deals with o AND s gauge at the same time so it might need to be moved
