I don't use DCS but below will help you with Ross Turnouts. While the info is for 3 and 4 way turnouts the basic wiring scheme also applies to the standard turnout configuration.
I also included a presentation on wiring ITAD and IR signal detectors. I have both Lionel and Z-stuff but am slowing transferring everything to Z-Stuff (1075 / 1011R) as I sell or burnout the Lionel detectors.
If you want to control signals when the turnout itself switches positions then you need to look at Z-Stuff 1008 relays as I show in the presentation.
