Thanks to all 3 clubs that showed their layouts at York.

Flower City Hi-Rail Club in the White Hall

? in the Black Hall

? in the Orange hall

My sincere apologies for forgetting two club names here but THANK YOU all for your hard work. Each layout was beautiful, especially the Flower City layout. What a stunning display that was. What a treat to see double-headed Vision Line Big Boys running around as well.

Also really liked the layout in the Orange Hall, a small-ish tinplate layout from Texas.

The group in the Black hall also had a beautiful layout with a very interesting yard and transfer table(?).

All in all, I enjoyed each and everyone of them.

Really nice postwar-style layout - you don't see that very often.  Automated stop-and-go with trains in opposing directions pulling into a siding while the other pulls out.  Numerous accessories operating automatically and flawlessly.

I know first-hand the challenges of transporting, setting up, and operating a modular layout, and their effort is appreciated.

I thought the Flower City and Queen City modular clubs put out great layouts, as well as the Texas guys in the Orange hall. Kudos to them for all the effort, and the TCA ED for coordinating it all.

Seeing operating layouts is a great thing at York, it is a nice diversion from walking through aisle after aisle of tables with boxes.

I was really impressed by the Atlas layout...very large, very well done. Two loops, freight on one and a full train of the California Zephyr on the other.

Any pictures of the Atias layout? Were they running the long delayed CZ passenger cars on it?
