I was at the event in Concord last night.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) I only made one purchase...the Lionel neon clock.

Considering it was an event only for LCCA/LRRC members, the place was very crowded.  I cannot imagine how crowded it will be today and tomorrow when it is open to the public.

The majority of merchandise was geared to towards starter-type sets.  For anyone interested in getting started with O gauge, they would have been overwhelmed by the choices available.  I'm sure it will be a very successful weekend.  Lot's of conventional sets, Lionchief sets, and separate-sale Lionchief engines.

I guess I have become more discriminating in my O gauge purchases as I didn't find any engines or rolling stock that I wanted/needed.  I didn't find anything that I had on my list.   At past shows in Concord I have made substantial purchases.  Oh well, I will patiently wait for the next event.  And, in the meantime, some of the OGR sponsors will be getting orders from me.

LCCA has another great day at Lionel's Third Annual Warehouse Sale!  The warehouse sale was open to the public today and will be open 11 AM to 3 PM tomorrow on  Sunday. Thank you to all of the LCCA members who stopped by the LCCA table and met with club volunteer representatives, Scott Smith, Ed Magruder, Rich Dissosway and Junior Member Anderson H. of Concord NC.  Thank you Scott, Ed, Rich and Anderson!   Please stop by the LCCA display tomorrow at Lionel's 3rd Annual Warehouse Sales event  in Concord NC.
