the artwork is being generated as we speak. i have found a paint that identical to ribbed aluminum or stainless steel. i'm playing with that instead of plain old chrome! That will certainly make some heads turn. if i dont like it i will return to chrome.

now remember this tinplate are toy trains and not full scale models.

hey i just received a sample production set of the lakeshore limited today!!!

haven't run it yet.

thanks

John, 4th post in Mike Donahue posted a photo of the real Prospector. To my eye, the Junior Streamliner looks as close, maybe a fuzz closer to the Prospector aspect than the Flying Yankee does. A Junior set might ever have a better price point.

Since there are current tools to make both the Junior and the Yankee, it doesn't really matter to me, cause I am in to support LCCA making tinplate sets!

I would be in for the M&A set up that Bob showed as well.  It was an attractive thingamabob!

Am I the only one still waiting and hoping for a photo teaser? The prototype photo posted by Mike Donahue is nice, HOWEVER, a photo of the mock up would be nice.

Any chance you would consider making a Missouri & Arkansas Railway version of that railcar? See below photo.

boy that is sharp! i need to get a better color photo. i like it!!!

Lou,

I agree.  It is very sharp and would make a really fantastic tinplate train!  Unfortunately, this "colorized" post card is the only color rendering of the M & A's "Blue Goose" that I have ever found.  I have uncovered several B&W photos but no color ones.  If you find any, I would love to see them.
