What do you think should be the LCCA's next tinplate train set?

If I could pick it, I would select a 260E and 710 series passenger car set in the orange, maroon and black livery of the unstreamlined Milwaukee Road "CHIPPEWA" passenger train.  The locomotive's paint scheme would be similar to the livery on this RichArt Standard Gauge CHIPPEWA engine.  Very colorful!

I take it back.  The Milwaukee Road never had Vanderbilt tenders so a 260E with 710 series car set won't work.  Rather, I'd go with the same orange, maroon and black Milwaukee Road "CHIPPEWA" train paint scheme but I would apply it to a set consisting of a 262E locomotive and 262T tender, #600 Pullman car(s), #601 observation car, and #602 baggage car.

I'll go for nifty.

Maybe in New Haven?

The McGinnis scheme, if that is what is suggested, would not look 'prewar'. I had in mind something along the lines of the recent Lakeshore set, or black roofs and chrome, or deep blue roofs and maroon, etc.

I was sorta thinking along these lines:

NH EP3

Hunter's green with dulux gold striping.
