Just got the lcs setup hooked up to my layout last night and I must say I'm not impressed. First thing is all my switches are manual throw. They are all in reach. My layout is a horseshoe shaped dog bone, 19x34. So I don't need that option. The few accessories I have are all close to the edge with control buttons right there. No quilling whistle, limited engine control, no TPC control........Not a happy camper right now Might have everything on the for sale forum shortly.

Well, having all manual switches does really limit what you can do with it! What did you expect it to do for you?

Well for one thing I thought that everything on the cab2 would be on the Ipad. And maybe you could go to the roster and bring up an engine from there instead of toggling the little number button. I should have done my homework first instead of assuming.
Probably. From the start the LCS App was meant to be a layout control and running trains secondary. The iCab was meant for hardcore train operation.
It's always been known that all the Legacy features would not be on the LCS app. The LCS app is primarily aimed at accessory, yard and track control. Which with manual switches is not going to happen for you.
There is a iPhone/iPad app that will give you most of your Cab2 functions. iCab is $50.00
I also wouldn't discount the possibility that stuff will be added to the LCS on the iPad. One thing I liked is the yard mode, that's pretty slick.
