I’m running Legacy, an SC2 for accessories, an OTC and DZ2500 switch machines with the DZ 2001 data wire driver. Everything works great. My question is if I install a Lionel LCS wifi module, can I expect everything to work without adding any other modules? Will the LCS app work the DZ switches? I emailed Lionel and they were vague in their response. Thanks for any insight.

Once you plug the LCS DB9 power/PDI buss cable into the Legacy Base serial cable, you will need a SER2 module to provide the serial output for older products such as the data wire driver, ASCs and OTCs. You may want consider the LCS CSM2 module which is designed specifically to drive the DZ2500s.
The LCS App works great with TMCC-controlled switches (my gear is ASCs and ASC2s driving Ross/dz1000, K-Line, and Lionel switches).
