LCT 256 Gear Problem

I have a problem with the gears on the new LCT 256. I got one last week and the wheel gears on one of the motors slipped off the drive gear. The wheel appears to be pressed on about as far as it can go. Looks like they were made with close tolerances because the wheel gear on the good motor is barely on the drive gear. (I might not be explaining the problem clearly because the engine is in the shop for repairs).

Hope that this can be repaired without becoming a persistent problem. My repair person who is very knowledgeable thinks that it is a poor design.

Anyone else here have any problems with this engine?
