Wonder if there are LED replacement bulbs that cover most applications? One or 2 for screw in base and bayonet base bulbs?

I see that some locos are using QSI reverse units and what is a replacement for these if they should fail!

Interested if possible to fit a smoke unit to engines not equipped with one?

Not sure if they still advertise on here or not but a company called Evans designs sell LED that run on track voltage.

There is a company that makes electronics E units in Pennsylvania. Their name escapes me at the moment. Dallee is the name of the company

As as far as a smoke unit goes you have to have the room for one unless you are happy with a non fan driven unit like a Sueth smoke unit.

Town and Country Hobbies has direct replacement LED bulbs.  I bought some a couple of years back and have put them in some Williams passenger cars with the silhouette window strips.  Back then they had screw base and bayonet.  Just checked the web site and I believe they have more variety now.  If you're looking to do a lot of LEDs there are many threads on the forum on how to use LEDs with AC cheaper than buying the bulbs.
