Exactly which light regulators do you have?

If you're talking about the regulators here: LED Lighting Regulator, why are you not using 12V strips?  You have 18V on the track, the 12V strips and my regulator are a perfect match.

I am using the LED Lighting Regulator that Gunrunnerjohn makes/sells, got them a couple of days ago, actually from Hennings Trains , great folks, called me this AM to be sure I received what was needed.

This volt question was asked because I did not know and wanted to be sure. 12 Volt LED strips will be purchased  and work will begin in a few days.

What LED would be best 3528, 2835 or 5050

I use the 3528, but the 2835 are the same size.  The 5050 will work, but it's overkill, I can get the cars way too bright with the 3528 strips.
