LEGACY

The Set, L, M, and H buttons? Does the remote just fail to send the signal? Or does the LCD not change to tell you what youre setting the momentum to?

Only one who's allowed to fix the Legacy base and remote is Lionel.  Email or call for a RA number.   Lionel been very good at email responses of late.

What superwarp said; I had to send one of my 990 Legacy remotes back to Lionel for repair 2017; the number 2 key stopped working - Lionel fixed that after 5 days and sent it back; the second time way after the first (2018) (forgot what the problem was), took 6 weeks to return and was fixed; however, one of the bottom keys did not click after pressing it - but still worked.

I sent the CLUB's 990 in a short time back. Called "Talk to Us", got an answer in one ring, received the RA same day, sent it in the next day, AND received it back in less than 2 Weeks!!

NOW, that's good Service.

I had the same experience with Lionel support as FREDSTRAINS. Called Lionel support about 2 months ago, got helped within a few minutes and the gave me RMA's for both my 990 and 993 as both had issues. I shipped them with Lionel supplied FedEx shipping and had them back within 3 weeks, and 2/3's of that was shipping time. This was all done at no cost to me and you should expect the same.
