Problem, I have a 2012 legacy GP9 that just quit working all of a sudden. It just won't go foward or backwards. The cab lights and red lights blinking when I put power to the track. Did the board go caput on me? I am con sidering putting a a williams reversing board in it if the board is bad as the engine is 12 years old. That's a life time for electronics. Just would like to make sure it is the board is shot for I tare it apart. I sure would appreciate any insight anybody feels like offering. Thank you very much for time. Charlie Criss

Do you have the product number (or at least the roadname)?
Blinking cab lights are used as a fault code read out on most Legacy engines. Two blinks vs. three blinks vs. four blinks etc. all indicate different things from the motor is bound up to the smoke unit isn't working. It is all explained in your owners manual. I would say your board is probably not the culprit, and at very least, it certainly isn't completely dead if it's outputting the blinking trouble code.
As a general rule for boards, if there's any light output (aside from sparking/fire ), it's not completely dead.
The class or marker lights don't blink, just the CAB light. That sounds like something more serious.
Before you abandon the Legacy board, I can test it for you.
What are you powering it with?
