My GP-7 has a hatch in the roof so you can access the funnel and then the smoke unit. I found adding fluid direct to the smoke unit much easier than dripping fluid down the funnels and then blowing smoke fluid all over.
Do the F3/F7's have such an access panel??

Jeff: The F3/F7 does NOT have an access panel. See another thread on here right now about adding fluid to these. I also second the recommendation of using a needle-point applicator for these units vice trying to add fluid to the stack directly. I have a syringe with flexible hose I use for this; I also have an old Labelle needle-point oiler I fill with smoke fluid as well.
i use the dropper that comes with my megasteam fluid. works just fine.
