Do newer (2017) Legacy locomotive no longer come with a Legacy Module? Do you need either a module or an LCS Sensor Track to load all of the data from the locomotive in order to have access to all of the features?

The Legacy module only stores the name and class/type data of the locomotive. It does not hold any sort of functionality. They stopped including orange modules with the last shipment of SD45s which included the GN HUSTLE MUSCLE

Dave did a good job with the video. The modules and running over the sensor track are just a short cut to get to the same point.
While I understand it can be daunting for folks once they enter the engine info manually it's quite simple.
