Legacy Module Garage

It was never built, cancelled shortly after announcement. There have been a couple threads here with some rather innovative alternatives

I don't believe these were ever made.

 

I did this instead..  Holds 40 modules.

 

CNC cut MDF kit you can finish yourself is available for $20 + shipping.

 

 

For $20, Charlie's kit is a good deal.  What I use now though is a ZipLoc bag that hangs from a hook above my workbench.  I don't have very many modules though.

CNC = Computer Numerical Control

In this case a CNC router I would guess. 

You can take a Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawing and using Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) software generate or program a tool path from the drawing.

The CNC router then follows the program.

I got one of these from Charlie and finished it. I limited the modules to 25 (small layout) and I can use the remaining 15 in a portable way for going to train meets.

I've got myself moved and settled in temporary quarters waiting for the house to be completed.

I must have bought the last 3 or clese to it. They are well worth the 20 bucks each

I've got about 75 modules, now I don't need to access them often but every once in a while I need a particular one and a sack of them is a pain the butt to dig through
