I have only one Legacy locomotive; a 10 wheeler. I have the Legacy system with Cab-2. The system has been loaded with the USB stick (or whatever it is) that came with the locomotive. Track voltage is 17 volts from a Z4000. The first start up works, but if I perform a shut down, I cannot get Rail Sounds to play again without removing track power. I always start up by pulling the whistle slider. Is this normal?

This is normal. Use the "Start Up" command to trigger the startup sequence and restore the sounds.

So, I need to go to the addressing screen to see the start up icon?

Yes. That is correct.

Thanks Marty. I learned DCS years ago. I guess I'm a little slower or lazy today, learning TMCC, Legacy.
Using start up is only required if the engine "Shutdown" was used and the engine was not powered off. Have fun!
Thanks, Marty!
