Ladies & Gentlemen,
As I built the 2nd level of my FasTrack Christmas layout I had forgotten that the short pieces of FasTrack were not set up with power drop connections. So the only decently close place I had to drop the Legacy lead was on of my
rather long sidings. I figured I might have some problems with this when it came to slow speed control of my Legacy Shay because the drop was not on the main line. Man was I pleasantly surprised for find out it made no difference what so ever in signal strength, the Legacy Shay engine runs smooth as glass right down to almost zero, even pulling 15 loaded cars and an old Lionel Burro Logging Crane Car. Some simply amazing Lionel technology. Fantastic engineering.
