Legacy Station is moving from it's current location in Lawrenceville, GA to an 11,000 sq ft storefront in Lilburn, GA. As a past and semi-present employee, I am really excited about this move and can say it has been needed for a long time. The current neighborhood has become plagued with crime, drugs and gang activity, plus there have been several instances of cars being broken into in the parking lot and even the front windows of the store smashed! There used to be a display in front of the windows that showcased O scale locomotives and it, along with about a dozen locos, was destroyed when the windows were broken out! The new location in Lilburn is in the Kroger shopping center at the intersection of Beaver Ruin Rd and Hwy 29, which is a bit closer to I-85 and Atlanta! The move will be happening as soon as the renovations are done at the new place, but should happen sometime this month.

I was pleased to hear that a move was in the works. I have been buying from Brian

and the crew for a while now and I look forward to the new location. The store will

be about twice the size it is now and should be able to better display the inventory

so you can find what you are looking for. I really like the people at Legacy and wish

them all the best for the new location and another 15 years in business. Sometimes

they post pictures on their Facebook page of the work in progress, so if you get a chance

check it out.
