Can you operate a Legacy engine with a TMCC remote? If you can, what all do you need to operate it? And how do you hook everything up?

You can operate the basic TMCC commands (Direction, speed, horn, smoke, non-quillable whistle) with the old TMCC/CAB-1 setup
A Legacy engine functions the same as any other TMCC engine with the CAB-1, hookup is the same (command base wire to the outer rail)
You can operate a Legacy engine in command with a TMCC handheld and command base. Not all of the Legacy features are available in this way ie., the quilling whistle feature. Hookup is as you would for TMCC control, connect the single post on the TMCC command base to a common rail on the layout.
