Legacy upgrade from V1.3 to V1.61 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am running my Legacy system at V1.3 that it came with (Blue Modules). Can you provide me with what I need to get to get me up to the current firmware release for the cab and base? Can I do the upgrade in one shot or will it take several to get there? What do I need for hardware?

As always greatly appreciate the help.

You can upgrade directly to 1.6 and 1.61

You can modify those blue modules to be writeable with the LCU (utility). Look here...

Where are the instructions for downloading the software onto the “black” module. I have never done that. Details please.

Thanks for your help. I modified one of the 1.5 modules and loaded in 1.61 in the remote and 1.60 in the base. Very easy once you know how. (:-))
