Great looking layout Gandydancer, I never thought of doing a coal drag with the Lionel LV hoppers, another project for me to start! That hotel across from the tracks reminds me of the scene in My Cousin Vinny when the train rolls tru town at 5 in the morning.

thanks for the compliment!
Great looking scenes. Love to see more pics of the rest of the layout......Paul
Thank you Paul. A feature article of my layout will be appearing in a "competitors" magazine in the fall.
Looks great! I agree - it just says PA to me as well!
Very nice work!

Thanks Christopher. I was trying to model the southeast Ohio, West Virginia, western PA. & upstate New York region. Nice to hear that I may have accomplished that. Appreciate the comment!
Mission Accomplished....Looks Great
I'm feeling Pennsylvania also, and a little bit of Ohio too!
Thanks for Posting
I have a similar coal drag. A few MTH die cast LVRR hoppers, a bunch of Lionel LVRR 6456/6476/6176, a few RMT (D&H, WM), a few Kline (PRR, N&W). Sometimes I pull it with LVRR GP38s (Cab 324 and 323 from MTH) and sometimes I pull it with D&H Alcos (a C628 and two RS3s). It looks nice but my scenery doesn’t come close to yours.
