Let's see your Erector set structures

Notice my Erecter Set Bridge at the beginning of the short video below:

It was made and given to me by my friend Pierre, who sometimes visits the Forum. I call it my Geoege Washingmachine Bridge. Arnold

Here's a photo of it:

Fencing using 2" brackets for the Arkansas and Missouri museum layout.

Rattlecan primer and yellow painted after I took this photo.

Gives the Grabby Guses a visual "Do Not Cross This Line" cue.

Worked remarkably well during the Xmas holiday trains.

Although I don't have a need to keep hands off my layout, I really like the idea.  It also gives me an idea for using some of the brackets that seem to be overly abundant in my batches of parts (makes me wonder why). Please post a pic of the finished items when you get the opportunity.

Here are some of the Erector structures that I have on my layout.

1. Dual track bridge that spans a 5 foot gap between to tables.

2. Elevated platform number 1.

3. Elevated platform number 2.

4. Elevated track bridge number 1.

5. Elevated track bridge number 2.

6. Signal bridge.

7. Christmas tri-level display layout.

No circus layout would be complete without some rides made from Erector Amusement Park Sets.

1. Parachute Jump.

2. Carousel.

3. Airplane ride.

4. Ferris wheel.

I've seen the parachute jump in action on Caryl Pettijohn's layout.  The mechanism is ingenious, especially the use of a partially-toothed gear to raise and release the parachutes.
