Walking around the Allentown train show yesterday, I saw lots of different options for exterior lighting and lanterns.  But if you need lots of lights, the proposition of buying ready made lighting can be expensive.

I would like to see your homemade scratch built lights.  They might be light poles, spot lights, building lanterns or any other lighting you want to share.

Thanks in advance.

Ron- I'm with you- ready made lights are expensive. LED's make it easy to create light out of almost anything. Here's some of mine.

Made these lights for my team track platform from some small LED's and drywall screw washers. I ran a screw through the washer to invert them and used it for the hood. Painted them silver when assembled.

Next two are basically the same- I used some 5mm LEDs and 1/4" balsa to make a fixture arm.
