One of the best layouts ive ever seen ..  I can watch it over and over on youtube!

Nick, you are so right!  This is an excellent layout worthy of a long trip to see.  I agree, they are never going to make any money on it.  It is a labor of love to advance the hobby!  If anyone says it is in the middle of nowhere, it is not far from major highways.  The secondary roads have little traffic, so you breeze right to Corner Field.

Youtube is great, but seeing it in person is fabulous.

Just checked out their web site the place looks awesome and will add it to my retirement bucket list of trips and places to visit.

Thank you Mark. When we head out to see those guys there are other things to see and do. Close by is an old 1930's style Hardware shop I can spend another hour just in that place! So anyway  we make a day out of it. Great way to spend a Sunday. Nick

I’ve only seen this layout in pictures and from what I see it’s absolutely outstanding!!!! It’s on my bucket list to see in person. Tom Sr and Tom jr are great guys , I tip my hat to them

I was thinking of a comment/joke someone made about Corner Field being out there, but now I recall it was on a different topic.  I know better than anyone there is a lot to do most anywhere.  I go bu Mosquito Lake to get there.  My uncle had a boat on that lake in the early ‘70s.  Actually they took us to a lot of neat places in Northeast Ohio when they lived in Northfield.  The hardware shop sounds great!

I plan to head to corner field after York. It looks amazing.

@ Mark, fond memories of mosquito lake?  we need more details!

Hokie71, My uncle had a nice cabin boat on the Allegheny River in the '60s when he was still working for US Steel Edgar Thompson Works.  After a layoff, they moved to Northfield Ohio, and he got a pontoon boat and had it docked on Mosquito Lake for a couple years until he was able to get dock space on the Cuyahoga River near Lake Erie.  So, I don't have many memories other than a couple rides on the pontoon boat, but no specifics come to mind.

Mark, I had to grin at the name of the lake. I pictured you swatting mosquitoes all day!
